first HAED- getting ready for the start

Hi all,

I got my first HAED design in the mail  last week. I haven't started it yet, but I managed to get all floss together and divided my fabric into smaller 10x 10 blocks, at least for the first page. I'm going to stitch on 18 ct. aida. Not that i particularly like to stitch on aida- I love linen- but it is more difficult. As the design itself is already quite a challenge, stitching it on 32 ct. linen would  make it too much of a challenge.

Looking forward to see everyone's progress (and hopefully mine too:-))...

    This is an awesome design. I have it on my wishlist. I currently have two HAED's on 25 cnt and one on 18 cnt aida. To my surprise, I'm really enjoying the 18 cnt.

    Love this chart! Congrats on starting your first HAED. I am stitching a couple of HAEDs on 18 count and I really like the way they are coming out. My poor old eyes just have too much trouble seeing the smaller counts anymore. I hope you like it too :)

    I am also doing this on on 18 ct aida. I have all of my supplies to do it now, just to get it started.

    Oh that is a very cute chart. I refuse to get to far into the archives of HAED so I have never seen this. (probably not a bad thing) I'm afraid I might get lost, and hubby will have to pay ransom to get me out. ;) Good Luck with your HAED I cannot wait to see your progress.
