Crying!
I am almost in tears! I had pages one and two done and was working on page three of "Life's Little Tangles" and somehow the material got a whole in it near the top of what would be page four. Before going any further on page three I have been trying to figure out a way to patch the hole. Thus far I am not successful. I am starting to wonder if I ju7st need to start over and scrap my wo0rk thus far. Any suggestions?

Dragon Moon
I got in 1600 stitches in this time round.
It is looking nice and sparkly now due to the Petite Treasure Braid.
This is what it will look like.
I am really enjoying working on this one.

Update on Life's Little Tangles
Hello Everyone and sorry about so long between the posts. September was a
beyond crazy month for me. The picture in the upper left corner is the
progress as of August 27. The other picture is what the project looks
like right now. I am more than half done with page two. I am uncertain if the progress I have made is considered like a lot or a little. Jack was wanting me to enter this into next year's Vermilion County Fair. He thinks I'd win the biggest prize. My problem with that is that I'd have to have this completely done and framed by early June and I am uncertain I can get it done by then. It has a total of 24 pages in the pattern. I started stitching this in eirther late June or early July I cannot remember which, but I don't know if I am getting it done fast enough for next year's fair. Do you think I might make it or should I shoot for the following year?

Sanctuary of Knowledge: Cheryl
Hi, I have just joined here. My name is Cheryl. I have a blog I have been running for the last 5 years called Haed and other cross stitch. I am currently doing the Sanctuary of Knowledge by Randal Spangler. I have already completed 2 HAED's called 'The Waiting' and 'The Lights of Home 2' by Schim Schimmel.
I look forward to updating you with my progress on the Sanctuary. I am not far off completing the first row of pages...

Progess on Afternoon Tea and SK History of Chocolate
I have been very lazy about blogging lately. That doesn't mean I'm not stitching. Just the opposite I have been stitching instead of blogging. Here is my latest progress on last weeks home project Afternoon Tea & my lunch time at work project SK History of Chocolate.

Bookend Kitties
Hi Everyone. Now that summer is winding down and my kids are back in school I finally have time to work on cross stitching again. This is one of the 2012 freebie SAL pieces from the HAED bulletin board. It is a QS titled Bookend Kitties. I have finally finished pg 2 and am getting ready to start pg 3. I'm hoping to get back on track and finish pg 3 so I'm ready for the final page when is is released in October.

Overdue Update
Here is Life's Little Tangles as of about 7:00 last night. I now have those bottom two 10 x 10 squares I was working on completed. Sorry about taking so long between posting. Things were beyond crazy for me in July. Softball ended and cheerleading for youngest (13) started. That was the one thing I forgot to mention in my update on my lynscreations.blogspot account when I updated it today, after more than a month. That is unusual for me. Maybe, just maybe, things are slowing down...
Can you see that this is a pine tree?

Hi Everyone,
How are your HAED's all coming along? I would love to see some progress pictures.
Is anyone struggling with stitching their HAED or are you not managing to get much stitching in?
My stitching time has been limited but I will post a photo of The Green Man later.
Hugs to you all,
Kelly

Update on Life's Little Tangles
I have been spending the majority of my stitching time the past few weeks on my HAED. Here is the picture I scanned yesterday. I have stitched at lest 300 since this picture, but you can see my progress from my first picture, I am sure. I can see the trees and sky in this. I am excited about this project.

Spirit Update
A before shot:
And what it looks like now.
Sorry but the photo came out a bit on the dark side! It does not do justice to the colours. This is the one project I have that will not seem to photograph properly.
It is getting more exciting to work on as her head is starting to appear.

Here is the
beginning of Life's Little Tangles, finally. I started stitching on it
Wednesday, I believe. I originally started doing it two threads thick. I
am stitching over 2 on 25 ct. Jack and I looked at it together and
discussed that you could see too much of the white material underneath,
so I frogged what I had stitched and redid what I had done and have
added some since with a thickness of three threads. I really am enjoying
stitching this. I am working on a couple of other projects as well, so
right now not all my time is devoted to this. It has been quite awhile since I posted to this group, so I thought I better let you know I finally got started. I'll post more as I do more.

I am very pleased with my progress on it. I am over half way done with page one now :-)
