I also celebrate each page as a finish :) To help keep from being overwhelmed by the number of pages in a chart I only keep one page out at a time and the rest are kept in a notebook so they don't get lost or messed up.Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13374802840941301991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6174131074649079915.post-54684970967639452532012-03-18T01:23:01.627-07:002012-03-18T01:23:01.627-07:00Cute choice! I am doing "Life's Little Tangles". You will be using fewer thread colors than me, but I am trying not to look at it as the total number of thread colors I am using...I want to try and tackle this a page at a time. I have been reading over the past few years as a member about how others have tackled these charts and have concluded that it would be best if I thought of this a page at a time instead of everything at once. I have read that some stitchers even consider each page a finish instead of waiting for completion of the project to call it a finish...this way, I will have something like 25 finishes when this project is done, done.Lynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02452240325317880599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6174131074649079915.post-57432280261235470282012-03-10T18:00:20.255-08:002012-03-10T18:00:20.255-08:00You are right. There are so many other options for that that I really should just stitch it on plain fabric. Thank you for helping me think straight (it's a rare thing around here) ;).<br />~Hugs~mab3500https://www.blogger.com/profile/03384947146088492102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6174131074649079915.post-67370385891244479902012-03-10T17:57:47.849-08:002012-03-10T17:57:47.849-08:00Thank you Kelly! ~Hugs~Thank you Kelly! ~Hugs~mab3500https://www.blogger.com/profile/03384947146088492102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6174131074649079915.post-66065054548761030022012-03-10T14:58:25.361-08:002012-03-10T14:58:25.361-08:00The design is beautiful. But it looks like it is a full stitch so why waste the beautiful opalescent fabric on this where once it is framed, you will not see the sparkly anyway. Just get plain white or off white and save the sparklies for ones where you see fabric around it. JMHO but that is what I did with my Mystic Stitch since it is full coverage. I do look forward to seeing your progress.
